Welcome to Geist Elementary, the home of the Gators! Our school houses students in grades K-4 in a nurturing learning environment focused around teaching the WHOLE child. Our mission is to provide a 21st century education the meets the needs, abilities and interests of all student while building meaningful relationships and academic self-confidence. We believe in providing an environment that is healthy and safe for all children and will engage, challenge and support your child.
 
In effort to foster student growth, we provide standards-based instruction through a hands-on and inquiry driven approach. Our additional services include Response to Instruction supports, speech therapy, special education resources including CFL/Lifeskills program, resource room support, academic and behavior interventions, ENL supports, and high ability services. Our experienced and dedicated staff and faculty is eager to make a difference in the lives of our students. We focus on a “Love First and Teach Second” model as we believe knowing your child and building a relationship is an important first step in the learning process.
