Geist Elementary offers several extra-curricular programs and activities to enhance the student's educational experience.

These clubs are offered at various times throughout the school year either through GES or through outside organizations. When activities are offered, signup information is sent via flyers, ParentSquare emails and/or the Geist Gazette.

*Some clubs are limited in space and may require a selection process to participate.

Choir

The GES Choir is open to 3rd and 4th graders.  Morning practices are held weekly and more frequently near performance dates.  The choir performs in November (Veteran’s Day) and April.  August-April

Science Bowl*

Science Bowl is open to 4th graders. No try out necessary, just an interest and dedication to attendance/participation.  The state of Indiana hosts Science Bowl for students in 4th through 8th grade and then another at high school level. Our team of 8-20 students competes in the specified science topic of the year. Previous categories have included life science, chemical science and simple and compound machines.  January
